1st AVALANCHE Hackathon: Co-Creating Civil Security Innovation
28/08/2025
As part of the AI4SafeEurope Cluster and in the framework of the final event of the FERMI project, the public webinar will take place on 10th September 2025 and focus on the pressing challenge of fake news and disinformation and their impact on European societies, security, and democracy.
We will explore how artificial intelligence and advanced investigative tools can empower law enforcement agencies, policymakers, and civil society to detect, analyze, and counter these threats in an ethical and transparent manner. Presenters will also highlight key approaches and solutions developed within the Cluster.
This open webinar will provide a platform for dialogue between researchers, law enforcement agencies, policymakers, and the wider public, aiming to share knowledge, raise awareness, and strengthen Europe’s collective resilience against disinformation.
Selected Cluster projects may additionally present complementary perspectives on relevant AI, cybersecurity and intelligence issues.
The webinar is FREE, but registration is required. We’ll get in touch with the specific time and connection details.
