🌟 Join our 2nd AVALANCHE Hackathon 🌟
to contribute to the development of practical, explainable, and responsible AI-driven approaches for detecting disinformation.
Participants will work on a technical challenge inspired by AVALANCHE’s mission to support LEAs in identifying, analysing, and responding to harmful online content.
The full challenge details will be released to confirmed participants during the event.
What is the theme?
The technical theme of the hackathon is disinformation detection. Participants will be invited to explore how data-driven and AI-supported methods can help identify potentially misleading or manipulated information patterns in online content. The challenge will be framed around AVALANCHE’s broader work on OSINT.
Who can participate?
Individuals or teams of up to two participants. The hackathon is open to developers, data scientists, AI researchers, students, cybersecurity practitioners, OSINT enthusiasts, and professionals interested in using technology to address disinformation-related challenges.
Where?
Online. The conference link and practical access details will be securely shared with confirmed participants.
Software
Participants are encouraged to use open-source software to address the challenge. A dedicated repository or file-exchange space will be provided for challenge materials, submissions, and relevant documentation.
Incentives
- All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
- Winners will receive special prizes.
- Selected outcomes may be highlighted through AVALANCHE communication channels.
Why participate?
